Welcome to dotmotioon. By accessing our website, hiring our services, or collaborating on a project with Shojeb Hosen, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. The Scope of Work
We specialize in high-end video editing, including Talking Head videos, Faceless Documentaries, Short-form Content, Map Animations, and Promotional Videos. The exact scope of your project, including deliverables, timeline, and pricing, will be locked in through written communication (WhatsApp or Email) before any work begins.
2. Client Responsibilities & Provided Materials
You are responsible for providing clear instructions, branding guidelines, and all necessary raw files (footage, voiceovers, logos).
- You guarantee that you hold the copyright or have the appropriate licenses for any media you send us. We aren't liable for any copyright infringement claims arising from materials you provide.
- If a project requires premium stock footage or sound effects, we will source those from our licensed libraries at no extra cost, unless the project demands highly specific paid assets.
3. Payment Terms
We believe in a fair and transparent payment structure. Here's how it works:
- Upfront Deposit: For new clients, a 50% upfront payment is strictly required before we start cutting your video.
- Final Payment: We will send you a watermarked draft for review. Once you approve the final cut, the remaining 50% balance is due. The clean, unwatermarked high-resolution file will be delivered immediately after the final payment clears.
- Accepted Methods: We accept Payoneer, Wise, Skrill, Elevate Pay, International Visa/Mastercard, and Bank Transfers.
- Crypto Discount: We prefer cryptocurrency. If you pay using USDT, BTC, or Binance Pay, a 5% discount is automatically applied to your total invoice.
4. Turnaround Time & Delivery
Our standard turnaround is 24–48 hours for short-form content and 3–7 days for long-form documentaries.
- These timelines are estimates. The clock starts only after we receive your deposit and all necessary project files.
- Delays in client feedback or requesting massive script changes mid-project will naturally push back the final delivery date.
5. Revisions
We want you to be totally thrilled with the final video. Every standard project includes up to two (2) rounds of reasonable revisions (e.g., tweaking a transition, adjusting music volume, changing a specific clip).
- "Reasonable revisions" do not cover a complete overhaul of the project, changing the core script after editing has begun, or asking us to start over with entirely new footage.
- Any extra revision rounds beyond the first two will be billed at an agreed-upon hourly or flat rate.
6. Project Files (Source Files)
Our standard service covers the delivery of the final exported video (usually in .MP4 or .MOV format). We don't automatically hand over our messy kitchen. If you need the editable Adobe Premiere Pro (.prproj) or After Effects (.aep) source files, they are available for purchase for an additional fee.
7. Copyright & Portfolio Usage
Once the final payment is made, you own the full commercial rights to the final edited video. You can distribute it wherever you like.
- Portfolio Rights: We reserve the right to showcase snippets, screenshots, or the final video in the dotmotioon portfolio, website, or social media channels for self-promotional purposes.
- If your project is confidential, simply let us know beforehand and we'll gladly sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to keep things entirely private.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
Because video editing is a custom, labor-intensive digital service, our refund policy is strict.
- The 50% upfront deposit secures your spot in our schedule and covers initial creative labor. Once editing begins, this deposit is non-refundable.
- If you decide to cancel the project before any editing has started, we'll issue a full refund.
- No refunds will be provided after the final unwatermarked video has been delivered.
9. Communication
We keep things straightforward. Primary communication happens via WhatsApp for quick updates or via email (hello@dotmotioon.com) for file sharing and formal feedback. We usually respond within minutes on WhatsApp during standard working hours.
10. Changes to these Terms
We might update these terms occasionally to reflect changes in our workflow or billing methods. We recommend checking this page periodically. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms.
